Recurring posts
Schedule a post to repeat on a cadence without re-typing it every time.
Recurring posts are useful for everything from weekly digests to "every Monday at 9am" reminders. Set the cadence once and Unison clones the post on schedule.
Cadence options
- Daily at a chosen time
- Weekly on a chosen weekday and time
- Monthly on a chosen day-of-month and time
- Custom cron expression (Pro and Team) for niche schedules
Each occurrence is a real post in the queue, editable individually. Skipping one occurrence (eg holiday week) is one click in the calendar.
Step by step
- 1
Compose the post you want to recur. Set the channels, body, and any per-network overrides as you would normally.
- 2
Open the schedule picker and switch to the Recurring tab.
- 3
Pick a cadence and a start time. Optionally pick an end date or a "stop after N occurrences" cap.
- 4
Click Schedule recurring. Unison creates the first occurrence immediately and clones a new occurrence after each one publishes.
Editing all future occurrences
Open any future occurrence in the queue and choose Edit recurring series. Changes apply to every future occurrence. Past occurrences are unaffected.
Pausing a series
Open any future occurrence and click Pause series. Future occurrences will not be created until you resume.
Limits
- Maximum 100 active recurring series per workspace.
- Custom cron expressions cannot run more often than every 15 minutes.
