Metrics explained

What each number on the analytics dashboard actually means.

Updated May 12, 2026·1 min read

The analytics dashboard pulls native metrics from each network's API and normalises them so you can compare like with like. Here is what each card means and how it is computed.

Posts

The total count of published posts in the selected window. Drafts and scheduled-but-not-yet-shipped posts are excluded.

Engagement rate

The sum of likes, replies, reposts, and saves across all posts in the window, divided by the total impressions. Different networks count engagement slightly differently:

  • X includes likes, replies, reposts, quotes, and bookmarks.
  • LinkedIn includes reactions, comments, and shares.
  • Bluesky includes likes and reposts only.

Reach

The number of unique accounts that saw at least one of your posts. Note that reach is an estimate provided by each network and can be revised retroactively as networks finish their calculations.

Some networks (notably Bluesky) do not return reach via their public API. We surface a instead of a guess.

Activity by day

A 7- or 30-day bar chart of posts published per day. Hover any bar to see the breakdown by network. Use this to spot quiet days you can fill.
