Switching plans
Up or down, anytime. Pro-rating, downgrades, and what carries over.
You can switch plans up or down at any time from Settings → Billing. No support ticket required.
Upgrades
Upgrades are immediate and pro-rated. We charge the difference between what you have already paid and the new plan, scaled to the days remaining in your current billing period.
Example: you are on Free for 10 days and upgrade to Pro on day 11 of a 30-day month. We charge you 20/30ths of the Pro price for that first month.
Downgrades
Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep
all paid features until then, and we don't refund the unused portion by
default. Email hello@unison.ink if you want a partial refund and we will
sort it out.
Downgrading from Pro to Free brings you down to 2 connected channels. If you have more than 2 connected, you will be asked which to keep on the effective downgrade date. The others stay disconnected (no data lost) and reconnect instantly when you upgrade again.
What carries across
- Posts, drafts, and analytics history are kept regardless of plan changes.
- Connected channel credentials stay encrypted in the database.
- Team settings (if you had Team) move to the org admin's account on a downgrade so nothing is lost.
